L7M

L7M was born in the countryside of São Paulo in 1988, and his relationship with art started very early. As a child he took part in many contests and won many cultural awards. At 13 he had his first contact with spray paint, which opened his eyes to new techniques, and to new experiences mixing it with India ink, latex, pastel and acrylic.

Everything generates the chaos, from the mixture of outlooks and feelings to the materials and media he uses. Revolt against human sorrow, the beauty of life, the city’s disarray, neglect and his surroundings: all of it is carried into the work of an artist who evolved with his feelings focused on street art.

L7M, as he’s known, is identified by the simplicity of his colors and a free geometry tied to many issues, provoking contradictory and uncomfortable feelings in those who see it. That is his purpose: to bother and to question, through lines and colors turned into images of feeling.

Today L7M works independently with advertising agencies and gives exhibitions and workshops at companies, cultural centers and schools, alongside the urban art he practices freely.
